Sharing packages also has its own load of issues. But my article was not targeting those and is more targeting your code for a single solution.

Packaging your Infrastructure is pointless if you're only using it only in your solution. You will have to version and publish on each feature which is really cumbersome....

if you're defining general extension methods, libraries or helpers yes packaging is the way to go but I don't think this applies to everything.
