Yes agreed, and from the start I was always switching it off even before it defaulted.

Yes you can still retain entity tracking if you want by keeping your repo's instance or saving the instance yourself but I really find it messy and sometimes going above and beyond isn't necessarily better. Also, I am mainly targeting like most applications where infrastructure's performance is not bottlenecking but i am with you with what you said.
